When we think about a fun, family beach resort in Belize, Coco Beach comes to mind. It’s one of the larger resorts on north Ambergris Caye with two pools (one has its own bar), clean sandy beachfront, a dock, and a few palm trees. There’s also a restaurant on the property that is great for receptions–it has a high ceiling with massive chandeliers, and is warmly lit and air conditioned.
The resort faces east, towards the reef, which means you’ll get that breathtaking sunrise and your wedding day backdrop will be sea and clear blue skies. A stroll down the beach will lead you to a few isolated concrete structures, an abandoned chapel and a shabby dock that all make for interesting creative photographs.
We can’t talk about Coco Beach weddings without thinking about Ester and Esmy, the on-site wedding coordinators. They’re just phenomenal to work with! From a wedding vendor perspective, their level of care, hospitality and communication makes working at this resort easy and enjoyable.
